Three Teachings on Praying in Faith
Brother David Jardine will do three teachings on praying in faith in St. Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast on Thursdays February, 2, 9 and 16 at 8 pm. These teachings will help people to pray more effectively for other people, other situations and for themselves. It is great, when we are not well or in difficulties to be able to receive prayer, but it is even better when, in addition to that, we can pray for ourselves. David Jardine will give clear and simple teaching on how to pray effectively in faith. These teachings will be suitable for anyone, whether the desire is to pray for themselves or for others. Particularly they will be helpful to those who have been ill or in difficulties for a long time and need a breakthrough.
Each evening there will be an opportunity to spend time practising the prayer of faith, so that people will be better able to do it at home.
You will be very welcome to join us on these three Thursday evenings in February.
Healing For Anxiety and Depression
Interdenominational Divine Healing Ministries are holding a special service for those impacted through anxiety or depression on Monday 20th February 2012, at 8pm in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast. The guest speaker is Dr Stephen Rodgers of King’s Way Fellowship, Dunmurry and worship will be led by Caz Hamilton of Lisburn Fellowship Church. There will be an opportunity to receive personal prayer and anointing with oil at this service.
Anxiety and depression are the most common disorders affecting 1 out of 4 people in the UK and Ireland. Depression knows no barriers to age, religion, or social background. 30% of the telephone prayer requests received by Divine Healing Ministries are for those suffering with anxiety or depression. Startling statistics show that 1 in 5 older persons living in the community will suffer with this figure rising to 2 out of 5 for those in care. Women are more likely to seek medical treatment than men and this is reflected in statistics showing the men are 3 times more likely to die by suicide following depression. 9 out of 10 prisoners will undergo depression or anxiety and 20% of our children will suffer too.
Whilst most people will seek medical treatment for anxiety or depression, this service will emphasise that great spiritual healing is also available. You are very welcome to join us on the 20th February at St Anne’s Cathedral for this service.
On Monday 26th March 2012 there will be a service for those who have cancer.
On Monday 14th May 2012 at 8 pm in St. Anne’s Cathedral there will be a service for those with Alzheimer’s. The speaker will be Niall Griffen from Rostrevor.
