Jim Tate in conversation with Brother David Jardine

This is a DVD which has just been produced by Divine Healing Ministries.  It is a conversation between Brother David Jardine and Jim Tate.  Jim was born and brought up in Sandy Row, a loyalist area of Belfast.  When the Troubles broke out Jim became involved with a paramilitary organisation, becoming a commander in the UVF.  In the middle 70’s he did a long-term jail sentence.  On release he did not want to be involved again, but it was the middle 80’s before he was converted.  About 2002 Jim came to work full-time with Divine Healing Ministries.

Jim tells in this DVD the miracles that God has done in his life.  He even feels that long before he was converted God was looking after him, during his time in jail and after.  Jim talks about miracles of God’s protection, healing reconciliation and transformation. Brother David Jardine, director of Divine Healing Ministries, describes Jim Tate as ‘one of the great men produced by the Church in Ireland in the late 20th century’.

This DVD will be an inspiration to all who see it of what God is capable of doing in a person’s life.  It may be particularly appropriate for those who are finding life hard.  Certainly they will find words of hope and encouragement.

The DVD is entitled ‘God still does miracles today’.  It can be purchased from any of our services at the cost of £5.  If you order by post please include £1.50 for postage.

Rev NIGEL MUMFORD   is still suffering from ill health and has had to cancel his trip to us in February, 2010. We continue to pray God’s blessing for Nigel.

This will be held on the four Thursdays in May, 2010 at 8 pm in St. Anne’s Cathedral Hall, Donegall Street, Belfast.  Teaching will be done by Brother David Jardine.  This course is suitable for those who would like to work with Divine Healing Ministries, for those who wish to use the skills learnt in their own setting, and also for those who would just like to learn more about divine healing.  There is no fixed charge for the course, but participants would be expected to buy the four training CDs (total cost £14).  Each evening David Jardine will teach some principles of divine healing, explain in detail how to pray with others, do a demonstration of prayer, and give participants a chance to pray with one another in a non-threatening way.

A selection of Cds on themes of prayer and healing will be available for purchase (£4 each).  There is also a range of leaflets on various aspects of healing.  These are free.

For those who feel guided to be involved with Divine Healing Ministries we would invite them to work in a silent role with an experienced team member for eight weeks.  They would be with a different person each week so that they can experience various ways of praying.  Then for the next sixteen weeks they would still work with a partner, but be allowed to pray out loud.  At the end of that time they would be allowed to pray on their own, although in most of our services prayer team members normally have a partner.

We invite any who wish to come and do the training course, but Divine Healing Ministries would obviously want to discern the people whom God wishes to work with us.
